Reports to: Hotel Manager

Would you like the opportunity to combine your work with winter sports? Mark Warner invites you to join our team as Night Watch where your workplace becomes one of our charming winter resorts!

As Night Watch, you'll be an integral part of our resort team. This varied role includes general security of a busy hotel, its facilities, guests and staff. You will be required to do basic hotel maintenance and tidying whilst being a point of contact for our guests during the night.

Requirements

• Organised, flexible and proactive to achieve and improve standards
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Understanding of a hotel operation
• Previous experience or overseas seasonal experience and / or good understanding of the ski industry (desirable)
• UK/EU passport holder
• UK National Insurance or EU Social Security number
• UK/EU bank account

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security of the grounds and hotel at night
• Ensure all noise levels at night are kept to a minimum
• Implement security measures whilst reception cash-up
• Man reception out of hours and prior to the bar closing
• Ensure bars, restaurants, kitchen, reception, childcare centres and activity departments are clean, tidy, locked and secure at the end of each day
• Complete daily night watch report for the Hotel Manager
• Help to maintain staff discipline during the evening
• Conduct guest wake up calls
• Hotel maintenance i.e. changing light bulbs, painting
• Assit with restaurant set up for breakfast
• Hotel cleaning in public areas including pool area, restaurant, bar area and reception
• Assist guests with all requirements, queries and difficulties
• Assist booking.com guest with hotel check in
